2-0 from Sammy from a Naka free kick. Wilkie was a bit of a shambles though going for the ball with his foot.
And 2-1 straight away. Rather excellen free kick from dixon.
Samaras just scored again after being shocking for the first 10 minutes of the second half.
We got caught in possession in our own half and McManus dived in rashly and they scored the freekick from a central right position.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Artur’s positioning for freekicks is all wrong. Anything over the wall is pretty much a goal.
Robson doing his best to gift them a goal but McManus bailed him out. They’re fucking up for it now.
A serious spell of pressure from them.
2-2 and they deserve it. Rank rotten defending from McManus and Caldwell but Celtic have been awful as a team in the second half. Not nearly good enough.
An utterly shambolic second half display after playing excellently in the first half. Drawing 2-2 after being 2-0 up at home is pretty disgraceful in truth and they were pushing for a winner late on. They pinned us back at 2-1 and the obvious outlet to get us back on the offensive and out of our own half would have been McGeady.
We were clueless in the last half hour. The distribution from the back was awful. There was nobody putting their foot on the ball in midfield and the strikers couldn’t get into the game. Really fooking annoying to watch too.
Well that was abysmal in the second half. Nobody played well. We lacked fight, ambition and any sort of tactical awareness.
Bad decision from Strachan as well to take off Naka I thought, Koki wasn’t great but anyway we should have been going for two wingers at that stage. Crosas for Hartley should have been a change too. Hartley did nothing for all the time they were pressing. He patrolled everything from far too deep and they just played around him. Way too negative.
Strachan will be destroyed now for leaving McGeady out of the squad. And we were very poor going forward for much of the second half in particular. But the problems were really further back. Defending was a shambles. Way too deep for the second goal, way too clumsy for the first goal. But other than that we completely stood off them. Caddis and Naylor were included in that - Caddis made a good interception near the end there but he gave his winger far too much room.
Hartley’s a solid SPL player and particularly useful away from home to give the defence protection but he tends to sit 5 yards in front of the back 4 and you don’t need that at home. I’m not sure what happened Scott Brown in the second half but he was anonymous and they were well worth their draw in the end.
I’m really pissed off with that freekick too - how many goals has Boruc conceded like that now? They don’t even have to rifle the ball into a small target. He stands two yards from the non-wall post and leaves 10 yards of space for the ball striker. Anything placed with accuracy and moderate pace is a goal.
As I say, it’s really annoying. Going 10 points clear would have placed huge pressure on the huns ahead of what’s usually a difficult trip to Caley Thistle. It’s a reprieve for them and a way back into the title race. If they win tomorrow then they’re back to 5 points and we don’t play Aberdeen until the Sunday in the next round of fixtures and they could have it back to 2 points before then.
Unless it’s against Rangers, Boruc doesn’t seem to be interested these days. Dundee United have been playing better football than Celtic this season though, by some accounts, so maybe it’s not as much of a “slip-up” as it will be made out to be.
Yep, they’re playing well and only had 1 defeat in 17 coming into the game today but Celtic thoroughly outplayed them in the first half and should have been more than 1-0 up. To then go 2-0 up and flitter the game away, while showing an inability to control it was really, really poor.
Apparently this cunt was given the guided tour of Celtic Park today ahead of a potential transfer:

What makes him a cunt?
I dislike Suisse for beating Ireland so many times but surely that’s not it?
Boruc has been shocking this season. Almost got caught as well there today the time he was rounded in the second half and the ball was cleared off the line. Have a feeling Celtic may well blow this league yet. Certainly don’t think they’re going to win it by a big margin at any rate.
Don’t think Boruc was too clever on the free kick but I’d place more blame with McManus. The second incident was completely Robson’s fault IMO, Boruc was left helpless by a pass telegraphed last week.
I do think the league will be a struggle alright.
Robson is so predictable at times he doesn’t even look SPL standard. Always know what he is going to do before he gets which involves turning on his left side or looking for contact. Hartley simply doesn’t contribute enough while McManus was a bit reckless again in bits I saw today.

I’m not using the term ‘cunt’ in an offensive manner here. He could very possibly be a sound cunt.
Just on the news there that McGeady has decided not to appeal.
Just out of curiosity Rocko did any of his fellow players come out in support of Mcgeady?
Peace broke out over Lennoxtown yesterday morning according to well informed sources. Strachan clearly took whatever happened seriously/badly given the 2-week ban and also in following it up by leaving him out of the XVIII on Saturday. Strachan’s quotes re Saturday were frankly a load of bollox - talking about form and saying there wasn’t room for Aiden on the bench due to both that and the SPL’s rule about having a minimum of two U-21 players in the matchday squad. They were said to have cleared the air somewhat yesterday and McGeady deciding not to appeal should reconcile things further. In fairness, we need him in the team.
