No crows in Southern Europe .
Imagine not being able to say ‘as the crow flies’… I’d be lost anyway.
Good old Fagan, great thread bump
Great for the cabbages
I left my car down in Howth for the night. When I picked it up this morning these scumbags had scuttered all over it.
Had an interesting afternoon, was watching de telly and heard a knocking in the stove (wasn’t lit at this stage). Had a look and a little bird was inside, he came down the pipe. Closed all but one blind and opened the window without closed blinds. Let the little fella out. He made it to the window bounced off it once and out the gap.
Around 20 mins later the dog was over at the stove, wasn’t yourman inside again. Same craic again but he knocked himself out on the window. I put him out on the wall hidden by bushes. I checked 2 hours later he was still out. Went back after another hour, after dark (to throw him in the shed if still out cold) he was gone. Hes roasted now if he went back a third time.
In future, a shopping bag and humanely take the poor bird outside as opposed to blunt trauma injuries or just heart failure.
I tried with a towel, he bolted when I opened the stove. Hopefully he woke up and a crow didn’t get him
I have regular visitors into the kitchen stove, they can very stupid cunts those birds
We have a cover for the pipe but he got under it. Not the first time either.
A rat is after dragging him off and eating him alive .
We had a pheasant run across the back garden today. Beautiful bird in fairness.
They’re not being hunted I believe at the moment - upside of the auld covid.
We don’t appreciate the wildlife we have in this country.
A murmuration is an incredible thing to witness, but that is other worldly.
We’ve lost our souls.
It’s all money, money, money.
We used to have it happen in our village when I was a lad, a retired couple home from England didn’t like them shiteing on their garden so went out with a gun and put an end to it. Gun should have been turned on them.
Let the greens bring wolves and bears back
