That one won’t get the likes it deserves either
It’s a school team, probably the most successful ever.
You fucking creep
by the hurleys alone youd know its at least 10 years before that.

they are an awful ramshackle group of youngsters, half of them malnourished, the other half yet to see the insides of a barber shop. none of them happy.
for the lads with a misty eyed vision of the early 1980s gained through reeling in the years alone, this was the early 1980s.
Who’s Johnny pilkington?
the 1980’s was a horrendous time in Ireland
Not a helmet in sight.
Must be the early seventies.
I’m tempted to say Sexton St. CBS?
the snowflakes wouldnt have lasted 2 minutes
There’s 4 more all Ireland winners in that photo, 2 of whom were big names.
Horrendous. But at least we were all happy.
Happy til you were fucked onto the boat with all you owned in a bag.
Didn’t things turn out well for you all the same.
I had all I owned in the boot of a car.
Here’s a fact. Until I was 33, I could fit everything I owned into a normal sized car. If I’d binned the overlarge cathode ray tube, I’d have managed everything into a standard saloon boot.
The music was decent
You’re making up for it now anyway.
Nope. Defo not.
I briefly owned a house and sofa and bed aged 32 but I fucking hated the place, gave the furniture away, sold the house, and rented a room off a pal in Withington til I met my beloved.
I was informed at the time by said pal, that all I ever did was go to work, the pub, the gym and the bookies, all of which were on Oxford Road or thereabouts, as was his house, and I’d get a nosebleed if I ever wandered too far off it.
He’s a credit to the board
He is. Great to see one of us do well. The Parley was the icing on the cake.
