I had 8 500ml bottles. 3 glasses of wine. 1 Irish coffee and 4 whiskeys.

Will get the kids to bed soon and have 1 x 500 ml beer and another whiskey.

I’d never drink at home, but would still get a small supply of bottles at Christmas just in case.

What tends to happen is that just before they go out of date the following October, i sit down some random Saturday night to watch some wholesome Club GAA double header from Parnell Park cc @Cheasty and polish all the bottles off.

I might have an Easter Egg leftover that would be about to go out of date too to add to the occasion.

Zip, I find Christmas Day difficult for a variety reasons and alcohol only adds to this from past experience. I’ll tip out for a few tomorrow but will be happy enough when January rolls around, I consider the new year a far more enticing prospect.

I never really drank on Christmas day up to maybe 5 years ago. Best thing i ever did was go the other way…best day of the year to sup away bar none.

3 glasses of wine, a glass of Prosecco and 3 cans of Carlsberg. I’m only readying myself for a Stephen’s day of gambling and debauchery.

Zero, no poimt in starting a row when not in the pub
