Me too. Crotty is going to have to do something for it though.
I reckon a half marathon in temperatures certified at over 30 degrees.
Iâd sponsor that.
Youâll have lads canceling direct debits with other charities on the back of things like this, wealthy people who donât miss the few quid denying those who need it most
Who said letâs have volunteers running them? Letâs have over sight by a charities regulator and whopper fucking sentences for fuckers like these. And letâs tidy up a bit so we dont have 50 different charities providing the same services on behalf of the state or operating in the same area.

The Garda National Economic Crime Bureau is examining evidence seized during a search of the Limerick home of Peter Ireton, a founding member of BĂłthar, the disgraced charity.
Detectives believe Ireton was centrally involved in the theft of tens of thousands of euros donated by the public to help the poor in developing countries. The 68-year-old was found dead in the garden of his home in Castletroy in Co Limerick two weeks ago amid the scandal which is expected to lead to BĂłtharâs closure.
GardaĂ believe Ireton feared or was told that David Moloney, the charityâs former chief executive, intended to implicate him in the misappropriation of charitable funds.
Moloney has since implicated Ireton in the theft of âŹ226,000 destined for a congregation of nuns in Tanzania. Ireton is also alleged to have withdrawn huge amounts of cash from BĂłtharâs accounts on the pretext of sending it to other charities.
Moloney has admitted to misappropriating âŹ770,000 but the charity and the gardaĂ believe the full scale of his crimes has yet to emerge. It is possible âŹ1 million or more might have been stolen, gardaĂ say. The whereabouts of the money remains unknown.
While Moloney has accepted responsibility for the misappropriation of huge amounts of charitable funds, he has yet to account for its whereabouts.
GardaĂ have yet to make any arrests in connection with the investigation, which is examining the actions of several people who may be implicated. GardaĂ suspect those involved are in regular contact with each other and previously attempted to destroy incriminating evidence.
Moloney declined to comment when contacted by The Times at his home in Tipperary last week but said he would be cooperating with the garda investigation.
It is unclear how the frauds, which gardaĂ describe as extensive, were concealed from Grant Thornton, the charityâs auditors. A spokeswoman for the auditing firm last week said it was unable to comment due to strict confidentiality agreements
They only look at whatâs presented to them. If they query a payment and the ceo provides an invoice and explanation then thatâs it. They arenât police .
