Brexit a dó

Lib Dem Norman Lamb is OUT

He was widely expected to vote for it

Jim Shannon of the DUP is not happy with Boris.

@Sidney

Bullet points, what happens if they vote against the deal today.

The Letwin amendment will very likely pass and there likely won’t be a vote at all

Then what?

Johnson will send some sort of extension letter tonight while pretending not to send one

There will probably be a vote at some stage over the next couple of weeks but odds on it going through have lengthened considerably

Sunlight is the best disinfectant, as they say

No into 1/3 now, whenever that is

Nigel owens would be a good replacement for john bercow

Labane, whatever his views, is markedly different to EH.

I read everything.

What time is the senior match here?

Sammy Wilson very much against the idea of the NI population being allowed to vote on potentially staying or leaving the EU in this deal.

The govt have said that if the letwin amendment is carried, they will pull the vote on the deal. Gone all in.

What will that mean

He’ll have to get an extension until legislation is drawn up

It almost certainly would mean a general election before any further negotiations with the EU. Anybodys guess then.

He’ll have to write that letter for the extension, this is a certainty now, he is going to have to ditch his ditch comments. The question then is what comes next a GE or a 2nd referendum putting BJs deal to the people. What other options would be on the ballot paper though? There will be no more negotiating with the EU so could look something like this

Q1 Do you back the proposed deal between Boris and Brussels
Q2 Do you back remain in the EU?
Q3 Do you back a no deal exit from the EU

I did mate. I get wound up sometimes so I do

You must have a lot of time on your hands

Is there any chance of another Referendum? Is there any appetite from the public for it?
