BREXIT thread

Sterling is appreciating. Fill your boots. The markets know this will be deferred. My bet is a 3 month extension.

3 months and 1 day to be exact.

That’s just Project Fear.

You think that if they go ahead and do that that the 17.4 million people who voted for Brexit will just shrug their shoulders and say “ah well”?

Britain’s economy is already suffering to due to Brexit, and Brexit hasn’t even happened yet.

There’s going to be riots and an increase in far right extremism and US-style white identity politics there whatever happens.

Brexit will embolden it, no Brexit will be used as an excuse.

Better that to happen inside the EU where they might have some chance of turning the situation around rather than outside, where they will languish as a backwater at best, but more likely become a post-industrial basket case of an economy, with the break up of the country itself a distinct possibility.

Surely they’ll accept the democratic will of the people?

remaining in the eu is off the table. Paddy Potato and the various commentator in spudland are hilariously misinformed on the subject, there would be serious social unrest and the British Government know this

Airbus won’t be going anywhere, they have received billions in development grants from the government, the economy is booming, wages on the increase and employment at a ten year high. The pro european oirish media are a disgrace for the way they are reporting this

Ah no, we’re sticking with Irish ones now, don’t muddy the waters.

The economy isn’t booming, it’s recovering from a big low.

How many of those jobs are companies that are teetering on the edge like Airbus and Dyson (a British company)

The average tans knowledge of politics or anything remotely political is abysmal.
Half the cunts thought they were voting to leave NATO ffs.
Airbus have made it quite clear what they will do in a no deal scenario. That will have an effect on well north of 100,000 jobs if they go through with it.
The tans need to realise that this is no longer the 1700s and a picture of a bulldog and the odd rendition of rule Britannia doesn’t turn the shit sideways in anyone outside the UK.

Always did

Dyson is a Singaporean company.

In fairness Dyson had stated their intention a few years back. Well before this mess started.

Thats not great for Airbus

Well said kid
