BREXIT thread

Instead the real talk has been about Nissan and Land Rovers ie Global products which are British/manufactured in Britain where the shit is going to hit the fan because of supply chains.

For the likes of Liam Fox and high seas Brexiteers, they talk about an open Global economy but then look at these things through a narrow bilateral lense (when it suits). The truth is that the UK is a medium sized and admittedly wealthy population, but while China continues to grow and there’s middle classes elsewhere, the German manufactures will find places to sell their cars.

the fact that the DUP and Sinn Fein are two of the biggest parties in NI show what a backward place it is

It’s beyond comedy at this stage … The Tans think it’s 1940 - all the chatter is ww2 and the Germans … The Germans couldnt give two fucks about England  — They really are a strange, strange bunch … Almost as bad as the Pretend IRA lads who are marching around with hurleys and think it’s 1916.

And throw Paddy under the red double decker. All the while paddy says thanks

Edwina Currie on Pat Kenny now. The woman is deluded.

It’s hard to escape the continuous, nagging feeling that Ireland is going to get rode up the hole really hard at the last minute here.
