BREXIT thread

Option N - replace backstop with technical solution, has already been rejected by the EU. Pie in the sky stuff.

I was out in the car there earlier and Alastair Campbell and a journalist from the London Independent were on Sean O’Rourke and they seemed to think that the UK is headed for no agreement and a long extension and ultimately no Brexit.

The DUP are supporting Option N tonight.

Option Q - Brexit means Brexit

Impossible to predict but probably works for everyone but May for there to be a long extension in terms of keeping their hopes alive of a hard Brexit, a soft Brexit or Remain.

Will probably give Corbyn his election but he is going to be fucked by more defections unless he agrees to a second vote in the Labour manifesto. Will tear the Tories apart too. It’s real 1910 stuff.

There’s something very fishy about a lot of Brexiteers.

Nigel put that jumped up little chocolate munching Belgian bureaucrat back in his box with a World War 1 history lesson.

That would be typical of the tans alright — talking about events from 100 years ago instead of what’s actually happening now.

It was Belgian bureaucrat who started on about Field Marshall Haig and World War 1. Nigel has to remind him that it was his fellow countrymen who went over and defeated the Kaiser and liberated Belgium.

No one gives a fuck mate.

As Norman Tebbit once remarked- the list of great Belgian military victories was one of the thinnest books ever published.

The motion that the DUP were going to vote in favor of hasn’t made the list of 8 motions that the Speaker has chosen to go before the house.

They’ll be happy voting NO to everything else.

May has told the 1922 that she will stand down if her deal passes and will not go into the next phase of negotiations.

Is that why Mogg is backing her?

Yep.

Thereby handing the poisoned chalice over early. Don’t think this will wash.

Ali stair Campbell thought that this was a piece of chicanery by Old Etonian fantasists to levee Boris Johnson into power.

They would back down on principles for that?

They must have made their money already in the hedge fund on sterling
