This fucks the DUP no? The hard Brexiters do not a fuck give about the Union

Mogg won’t move yet without the cover of the DUP moving as well. The DUP aren’t going to move though so for the moment Mogg is stuck. That might change though.

Don’t think they have the numbers.

She’ll stand down when her deal passes.

Only in the Tory party.

She’s so thick she’ll try to hang on regardless.

A lot of these chancers are going to go back to their constituencies at the weekend and will come back to say that their constituents have implored them to take any form of Brexit, even Mrs May’s deal.

Or is it the case that she’s the only one from the Tories in all of this who has tried to make Brexit happen, a thankless job, and sees this deal as the precursor to everything else which she will happily walk away from once agreed?

There seems to be about 10 Hardcore ERG members. These guys are the true believers. Some of the leaked WhatsApp messages have shown some of them saying that her deal is worse than Remain. This is what Mogg et al said before they bottled, but that has been the message.

The DUP were supposedly looking for a seat at the next negotiating table. No doubt she will give that up if they agree.

The indicative votes are going to give cover to soft Brexiteers though. Impossible to know what will happen- at every juncture it has been surprising. And this tweet was on the money;

Everytime she does this the move eventually falls apart.

They don’t have the numbers to get Boris the job.

Depends who runs though. Some people might split the early voting.

I know he is toxic for many now, but there are still people like Amber Rudd who would support him in a shoot out with another Brexiteer.

Ms Brasier has now apparently told the 1922 Committee that she will stand down ahead of the next phase of Brexit negotiations, although she hasn’t yet set a date. What I don’t understand is why if it’s a bad deal would Members vote for it just because she’s resigning. Surely they should assess the merits of the deal. It’s all well and go to be saying the next phase of talks is the key phase but the terms to which you agree at Phase 1 greatly dictate your room for manoeuvre thereafter.

She’ll be leader till she dies so

We only have to get lucky once…

You have to be lucky all the time

Limerick airport will be the only EU airport not connected to the EU post Brexit

What’s the craic here Lads? Is it a bit like the Eurovision and the amendment with the most douze points gets to dance?

If her party wants her she promises to go, however if they want her to go she’ll stay.
Corbyn is uncomfortable as he’s no longer the most contrarian member of parliament

Boris to back May’s deal.

:joy::joy::joy:

An ERG source has sent out some lines from the speech that Steve Baker, the ERG deputy chairman, gave at the ERG meeting this evening. It turns out he really did talk about bulldozing parliament. (See 7.43pm.) Baker said:

I’m consumed with a ferocious rage after that pantomime [May in the ‘22] …

What is our liberty for if not to govern ourselves?

Like all of you I have wrestled with my conscience about what to do.

**I could tear this place down and bulldoze it into the river. **

These fools and knaves and cowards are voting on things they don’t even understand.

We’ve been put in this place by people whose addiction to power without responsibility has led them to put the choice of no Brexit or this deal.

I may yet resign the whip rather than be part of this.
