British Loins Tour to Australia 2013 - Official Thread

Loins, Loins, Loiiiiiiins…

You’d wonder how the salt of the earth, bin men and dockers who play for Munster and Ireland will mingle with the Eton educated toffs from England on this tour. Anyway I’m sure they’ll come together as one team and show leadership, guile, spirit, character and allegiance to her Majesty. Throw in Donncha “Donners” O’Callaghan providing the laughter via his hilarious practical jokes and how can Australia possibly prevail…

29 degrees in the shade, the spirit of Tom Crean, living the dream.

Loins 2013.

donners will have to be on the plane. There isnt a prankster in the 6 nations that is fit to lace his boots

Revised Test XV as of December 2nd, 2012:

15: Halfpenny (Wales)
14: Ashton (England)
13: Tuilagi (England)
12: Roberts (Wales)
11: North (Wales)
10: Farrell (England)
9: Youngs (England)
8: Faletau (Wales)
7: Robshaw (England)
6: Wood (England)
5: Launchbury (England)
4: Gray (Scotland)
3: Cole (England)
2: Best (Ireland)
1: Corbisiero (England)

9 England, 4 Wales, 1 Scotland, 1 Ireland

Best

Kearney is a cert to start.

So you’d have a Test XV with no Irish at all then, MBB?

Gerry Thornley, Donal Lenihan and co would have at least 7 Irish starters. Healy, “Paulie”, O’Brien, Ferris, Drico, Bowe and Kearney. They’d make convincing cases for Ross, Donnacha Ryan, Heaslip, Murray, “ROG” , D’Arcy, Earls and Zebo too.

Gatland out.

And Heaslip as captain!

It’s funny because it’s true.

Loins Tour manager Andy Irvine (Scotland) has announced the appointment of Rob Howley (Wales), Andy Farrell (England) and Graham Rowntree (England) as assistant coaches to head coach Warren Gatland (Wales).

Also announced today was the appointment of Dr. James Robson (Scotland) as leader of the tour medical team.

I predict that this thread will parachute TFK into the mainstream media

Heaslippy will captain the hell out of this side.

Healy and Heaslip would make it on current form. Faletau’s stock has plummetted in the last year. Sexton is also more likely than Farrell or Flood.

By the way Sidney, can’t believe you neglected to mention the Irish men on the ticket, Ger Carmody and the great ‘Rala’. Disgraceful stuff Sidney.

T-Bowe will most likely miss the tour after suffering knee ligament damage last night. Ulster says (no) that they can’t tell full extent of the damage yet, but doubtful now that T-Bowe will make the fight.

He might have to make do with watching championship matches in Clones next summer instead so.

He might go on holiday either.

I called it as a cruciate last night. I’d be surprised if I was proved wrong.
