He had tbf but his box kicking was meh. McGrath definently has a better eye for a kick in behind when needs be.
Murray in fairness to him has that ability too.
It’s more to do with how often he kicks the ball than being particularly bad at passing
POM screams “midweek captain” to Jerry Guscott
I respect the hell out of Jeremy Guscott, but he’s wrong here, damn wrong.
He’s been on three Lions tours, I think he knows a bit more about it than some lad on the internet
This is the sort of difference of opinion that makes British Loins tours great.
I’m sure Jeremy would agree wholeheartedly with @sidney here and agree that when it comes to the Lions, we are all equal.
Woody has 6 Irish in his selection here on ITV review
Can you give us that team ??
POM, Tadgh Furlong, CJ Stander, Murray and Sexton were the Irish
Jerry tips the Lions to win.
If Jerry is confident them I’m confident.
Gats will stick it to New Zealand (taking a leaf from Mattie Williams book and will refer to New Zealand as New Zealand and not the All Blacks) in the land of the long white cloud.
Wonder how many Irish starters will Gerry Thornleys first xv have?
That’s 5 unless Tadgh and Furlong are 2 people.
That is key . None of the All Blacks stuff . We need to respect NZ but no putting them on a pedastal.
Brian Moore’s column in the Daily Telegraph tomorrow is essential reading .
he’s a fabulous columnist
Laidlaw is a donkey. Murray is a donkey. Marmion number 1. The Welshy number 2.
Sin e e.
Stander isn’t Irish mate.
I can see that he’s a TFK anti poster boy but Murray appears head and shoulders above the competition for Lions number 9. Laidlaw’s boot won’t be needed, Marmion must be some kind of joke selection?
Murray will be the no.9
I’d be surprised if Henderson doesn’t figure in the tests.
