British Loins Tour to New Zealand 2017 - Official Thread

Henderson and O’Mahony should have booked their way onto the flight to New Zealand with their performances yesterday. Both could well be in contention to start by the time the first test comes around.

we?

britain?

Henderson is the sort of animal that spends the day melting rucks. A Brad Thorne sort. When he’s going well, he’s priceless.

Gatland will go with tipuric and Warburton. Not so sure O’mahony will figure. That choice will be rock gatland loses the tour against.

Yeah. A great player. Not as gone on Warburton though.

Don’t think either are the answer for all blacks.

He needs somebody like the O’brien from the autumn test.

The whole rugby culture in the northern hemisphere . Do you agree ??

Where in Britain is Paris?

Not really made for Warrenball. More Monster backs needed if he goes with that approach.

Way to getting at nz is to dominate possession. Some hope then.

You might refresh our memories of Popplewell. Last Irish man on a lions team to take a test against nz.

I note Stephen Jones of The Sunday Times, selected Rob Kearney at full back on his Lions team.

I see people rating O’Brien as good in 6N’s. Average at best in last 2 games IMO.

He wasn’t at his best for sure. On form though and he’s in a different class.

Saturday was his best game for Ireland in 3 years and he knocked the ball on 3 times.

Sean O Brien, like Ferris before him was used as a battering ram until he outlived his usefulness. The clock is ticking, 2 years at best.

All Blacks 11/10 to win all three tests. Free money.

I was over there for the last tour and felt before the first test that the Lions had a good chance but they were blown away. This is a better NZ team and a weaker group of Lions. I’d love to be heading out there again, rugby is bearable in the company of Kiwis, the country (normally sedate) comes alive for those tests.

This day 2 weeks the big announcement .

Dunno how they’ll go, but Gatland has the players to make a fist of it.

A far better pool of players than what was available in 2005.

Too shit of a coach
