British Politics

We’re going to have to keep an eye on Bridget Phillipson for the Auld birds thread in a few years time.

First on BBC, leaving with the message that he was going to his constituency and then turns up on sky news defending Brexit in a far more robust debate.

Claire Tighe has come a long way from student politics in Trinity.

Labour down 14 points in Newcastle Central though it’s still a comfortable hold. Reform 2nd again in this seat.

Next tories leader?

Whatever about the tories drop off, this is quite the collapse from the SNP who must have had 50-60 seats in last general election and are now predicted to get 10.

Some complete no mark waste of oxygen nut job like Grant Schapps.

They’ll get 50 again next time after Labour have become unpopular again.

They had 48

Schapps is about to lose his seat. Hard to know if they get someone extreme or someone moderate?

The tories are literally getting obliterated, by tories.

I don’t think it’s too hard to know.

Of course he is, that’s the kind of fuckwit we’re talking about.
They’ll try to go all extreme right wing nut job and win back their base from Reform.
Actually, it’ll be Kimi Badenoch at Braverman or one of those nut jobs.

The exit poll had this seat as a 99% probability to go to Reform. Early impressions I get are that Labour could well outshoot their seat projection, but in absolute votes terms they haven’t done anything spectacular, it’s a very low turnout election.

A dishevelled looking Neil Kinnock on George Galloway: “I’ve known him since 1983. He is repellent, he is such a chancer, he is so superficial.”

Galloway has lost his Rochdale seat to Labour.
