ooohh someone’'s getting tetchy. jeeves on leave?

:+1: :shamrock:

I’d say he’ll take you on alright. With regards ISP, it’s hard to know due to all this fuss about blackouts when the EPL is on. There were no reports on blackouts on Irish ISPs last weekend.

If the blackouts do happen we all may have to invest in a VPN.

I’m with Eir in Cork and have Vodafone back in Drom and no issues in either for streaming IPTV. Maybe someone else here can vouch for Virgin Media.

I assume you have decent speeds if you are doing a lot of torrenting

is there ever any issue with streaming quality?. Also is there a simple interface to use it? How do I go about signing up and how much is it?

There’s plenty on here that can vouch for the service. cc @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy @anon61878697 @Mac

The interface would depend on what device you plan on using it on. I’ll have to send you his email. Not sure about the price at the moment. I’ts either 80 or 85 sterling. It was 80 but an increase in costs was forcing him to increase the price of a sub. Not sure if he has gone ahead with the price increase yet though.

What channels can you get? Is it a once off payment ? Is all you need the internet?

All the channels. If you can think of it he probably has it.

Yearly subscription.

Internet and a device to use it on

Sold. Will it work with my shitty internet? 4g through 3. Where do I sign up?

Lads, don’t be asking questions and just sign up. I haven’t paid for anything beyond standard Sky package in 2 years and have seen everything I want. You can get an app for a tablet as well meaning you can use it on devices if you’re on holidays / travelling with work etc.

I watch fuck all EPL so can’t talk about that but it’s been perfect for EFL, GAA, NFL, Horse Racing and most other sports. You just need to not follow it ‘live’ on TFK as you’re maybe 10-15 seconds behind but that’s a very small price to pay.

Thanks Gimp. Does it run off the internet? Gaff has no broadband. Just a 4g phone connection.

Id be hesitant to use it just on 4G. It should work but network congestion (especially on Three) would hamper your viewing experience.

I have it on good word that there is a new app currently in development for Android.

You’ll be able to split screen and watch 2 streams side by side. Not sure if there will be an increase in sub for that functionality though.

I thought you lived in the greater Dublin area? How do you not have broadband?

If he could get that functionality into the LG’s it would be truly a #gamechanger

Lads like @anon61878697 will have the XXX channels on split screen.

It won’t work for you until you have broadband.

Keep up. He’s after trading up to a fancy new house in Porto, but the estate is not finished yet so the broadband isn’t connected yet.

Surely that would be classed as trading down?

These are nice houses in fairness.
