Very strange. The decline in the fortunes of his beloved Man U and the token journeymen standard of player that the famed youth academy is now churning out has hit him very badly.
Preston North End were the inaugural champions of England in 1888/89, the guts of 15 years before Man U were even founded in 1902. Preston followed it up in 1889/90 with a two in a row.
