He does alright, possibly the same shop or is it the one across from St Joesphs Church?
Honestly can’t remember…
Deignan’s?
Is Billy Higgin’s shop still open at the corner of Henry Street near Ridlers? Think you have to ring the door bell to get left in there though.
McGoverns up at the top of William Street used to be decent for suits etc.
Would you not need to re mortgage to get a suit in Billys? Always looked expensive.
Fairly snazzy suits in there, is the place still open?
I’d like to buy a sports jacket, i might give a browse around later. What would a decent one set you back does anyone know?
You’d get a good wool suit for in or around the 200 notes. The static electricity suits are cheaper.
I saw a nice suit in Tony Connollys for €200 on sale. I tried to haggle with yerman for a few more euros off it but he wouldn’t budge, so i left.
I also spoke with the Limerick umpire who got some undeserved flack for his diligent officiating in a Clare v Tipp U21 game a few years ago. Top man.
Go into Shaws lad, we saw a pile of sports jackets in there when we were looking for the flat caps for Clonmel.
Shaws? They must have a visible presence all over the country these days?
I got a suit years ago and, even though it was stylish, the jacket was huge and it came down to my ankles. Still, it suited me down to the ground.
What was he doing in a rival suit shop?
He wasn’t, i went into where he worked as well. Sound bloke, we talked about hurling and what an awful shower cunts Clare are…
Go back and do a deal with the lad in Connollys, if you like the suit, buy it to fcuk. Try another sales fella.
Tell him you’ll send in another few lads into him and that you have a wedding coming up too.
Anymore recommendations around the Dublin area for daycent suits?
Could also do with a proper smart pair of shoes…along with a daycent suit travel bag that can also fit other items of luggage in it too.
Need shoes for under a Brown Suit and Bright Grey suit…
I assume a pair of bright brown shoes will cover me?
A pair of plastic bags, similar to Moe Syzlack’s classic shoe wear should be perfect for that attire. Where are you going in that suit? A court-case?
You got me wrong there TTK.
2 different suits. One grey one Brown.
Bought them at lunchtime anyway.
Ah, I see Kinvara, apologies. I’d go with a tanned pair of shows with a squared toe.
I would wear black shoes with the grey suit and dark brown with the brown suit. I would immediately write off anyone wearing bright brown shoes as a bit of a cock to be honest.
