I’d say it would be a great spot for a young lad to live and safety wise you have Pearse St Garda station right beside you.

I’m not living there. I’ve booked 3 nights accommodation from the 27th to the 30th. Well be going racing on the 27th, drinking all day 28th and maybe go racing the 29th depending on the card.

Location is completely fine.

Thanks bandage. Given we are bringing women with us this time I may need to update my day drinking pubs list.

You’ll have all types of pub within a short stroll from you there.

The windjammer is around the corner and a lovely cocktail bar/early house. The birds would love it

Thanks Julio.

As someone said earlier mulligans is right beside you. Used to be a proper boozer, but the hipsters have it wrecked, it would suit better now with a few birds though.
There’s that dank cave bar underneath the dart station as well and you wouldn’t know whether ‘‘twas day or night in there
There’s a load of places really. I must get up to Dublin for a booze myself, it’s been far too long

Brogan Inc had Ruin Bar nearby too. Do Bernard at al still own it? That area would potentially be quiet enough between Christmas and new year as it’s a bit officey and apartmenty (some office worker types may be back down the country) so the activity may be in more of the standard places off Grafton St, Wexford St/Camden St, Dame St, Temple Bar etc.

Dublin will be a ghost town over that Xmas period. Pubs shut earlier in the evenings as no crowds around. Be wary of planned days drinking as most places will be empty.

Brogans never owned Ruin Bar - rumoured they were in the bidding for the old McTurcaills but Camden Exchange have it now. Was in there for food before Liam G on Saturday and it was lively. Food ok. Avoid mulligans. Stout is gone to shite too. Bowes and the Palace on Fleet St will be better. Cocktails for the girls in the Westin. Luas stop 2 mins away on green line and straight out to Leopardstown and back. See if you can get booking for vintage kitchen which might be quiet around 28/29.

Thanks mate, but I’ll probably be in Wexford or Monaghan on those dates.

Wtf is it about with country people and wheel braces ? I’ve a mayo brother in law who bought a car off done deal recently. Got shafted with a clocked car but managed to refind the lad who sold it to him who agreed to take it back. We went to meet him last night at the circle k just off the m50 our end. All went ok. Afterwards he pulled a wheelbrace out of his coat that he’d brought just in case…

You gotta tool up to handle your business, bro.

Would battering a fella under the cameras in a circle K be a smart way of taking care of business?

At least you got it sorted.

Did the two of you stop off for a swim on the way back?

You gotta do what you gotta do. If you stand for nothing you can be bought for anything

No. (Although we have been swimming a fair bit together since they moved home from oz) We hit the widows in Porto for a couple of pints with the other brother in law.

It would add fuel to the flames.

The Padraig Pearse will probably be lively enough. It’s Boxing Day you’re travelling yeah?
