in from the hills around Arigna and no shortage of Jamacian woodbines. You’ll be there in 2 hours FFS.

Just to clarify; I don’t WANT to hire a campervan, drive to Cornwall or spend 3 nights in one. But other people do. Not going to Cornwall at all would be far cheaper, easier and more enjoyable than any of the other suggestions made but it is a non-runner unfortunately. Plus I am a little surprised that everyone seems so shocked that anybody would want to hire a campervan for the purpose that it was invented for i.e staying in and driving.

I think people are just pointing out the stupidity of the plan to you mate.

8 hour drive on that side + ferry + getting to the ferry on this side, prob 12 hours plus all in. Both ways that’s a day travelling, to stay for three nights in a cramped campervan for what looks like a ridiculous amount of money.

Driving in a campervan for twelve hours down UK motorways is not what somebody imagines it might be. A caravan would be a far better alternative.

@Horsebox we’ve got your back here. I’ve driven a campervan a few times. It’s a lot slower than you think. A drive to Sligo came in around 5 hours as opposed to about 3 in a car (that’ss with a stop @carryharry @anon67715551 any other boyracers/locals) This is going to be the shittest weekend of your life.

Yeah I drove one for 10 days around France. Slow as fuck alright even on the motorways. There are legitimate sentimental reasons why people want to do this trip this way which I have had to concede to. Sometimes you have to say yes as I’m sure a confident modern guy like yourself will understand. Bitches be crazy, bro.

Guys, I think we should leave it be. This smacks of some sentimental trip down memory lane with @Horsebox and his missus helping her auld pair recreate their camper van honeymoon to Cornwall from 1975. The 4 of them will have a grand trip so stop making barbs at him.
