Cark, is it under water yet?

Lovely review mate. Cork is indeed a cunt of a spot to drive around if you don’t know it. Sextant used to do a free BBQ on a Friday evening for the after work crowd so that was probably why it was so busy.

Be sure and tell everyone you meet now what is great time you had in Cork

I did actually say to myself after that Cork is a place I don’t go often enough. If only we had a motorway

We would take over the world between us if we had the motorway

Cork is great.

A decent road even would do. Buttevant has been closed for roadworks for yonks now and I passed through the side where the roadworks were finished the last day and they’ll need to go back and do them again in a year, the road is in shit already.

You were parked in Jewtown I assume.
It was quiet enough, did you do anything the following day.

What a post. :wave::wave::wave:

Some decent bars in Cork tonight for a few scoops after the game chaps?

Not interested in hipster joints now

Age? Looking for women or just good pints and where ye staying

Staying in the clarion. With the woman. 2 couples so not anything wild to be honest

Just looking for a decent pint and a bit of music.

Cross the bridge in front of the clarion, toss a coin to turn left or right, there’s not a bad bar on the riverfront, I like the idle hour which is about 100 yards on your left, honestly you can’t go wrong.

Cheers

Gallagher on mccurtain st had a very good singer songWriter last time we were there. There’s a savage Japanese across the road as well Sakura. I may have mentioned it here before.

backinatracksuit has good advice but Sin É and The Corner House on Coburb st. as well as An Bodhran on Oliver Plunkett fill exactly what you are looking for also.

Idle Hour and Goldbrugs down the key are a bit dancier and a touch wilder, but not overly so.

He’d never make it up as far as Moks with all the good pubs he’s have to pass. Staying in the clarion I wouldn’t venture past the quays or Oliver Plunkett street.

When in Rome…

If Dublin win, which they should if they have anythibg at all about them, he could get killed in Moks. Not what it once was. Local bars closed and alot of the riffraff hit Moks.
You are literally talking about lads who have never left Cork and “hate” dubs, for some unknown reason. Even to them.
