Cark, is it under water yet?

I am a Dub and I’ve drank in there without incident. Average age is about 60. Couple of smart comments but that is about it.

Dotsie out for Dublin. Dublin camp in turmoil so I expect Cork to win if nothing else than because they are at home. Looking forward to seeing Kingston make his debut

I’ve an uncle heavily involved with the barrs and he told me something similar to Kev about moks, I haven’t been in there in about 10 years.

How long ago? Serious deteriatiin in past 18-24 months.

Was vest pub in Cork for years, and anyone could have banter there, dubs, english, rich, poor…whoever. its populated by a few uneducated dicks now, just a warning really.

Will take your word for it

if I was you I’d listen to what kev has to say

Signing in. Will take advice on decent eateries in Cork city, clonakilty, Bantry and Kenmare (I know that’s not Cork). Decent pub grub or lunches

The O’Flynn’s Sausage place in Cork City does a cracking breakfast. Just around the corner from Brown Thomas.

The greatest people in Ireland if you ask me.

We know that. Sure they love telling you. But that’s not what I asked. I asked for food recommendations and will now extend that to something to do in the city when I have a bit of spare time on Thursday.

The Emmet Hotel in Clonakilty. Best chowder I’ve ever had.

:astonished:

Loads of options in Cork city

The Sextant does savage breakfasts and lunch.
The Oliver Plunkett for lunch.
Market Lane and Jacques both really good.
There is a small Japanese takeaway on barrack st for something different for lunch it’s unreal

Clonakilty -Deasys, de barra, an sugan all good pub grub. Copper pot is nice as well bit more expensive than the others

Kenmare- coachman or the sailors both grand. Loads of options here too but Kenmare is pricey

Haven’t been in Bantry in years don’t know

Good luck to @mickee321 and other Cobh backers in today’s intermediate cup final, I played against wanderers a few times back when they were rubbish so it’s nice to see this incarnation, a very local team which is unusual in the MSL.

thanks man
heading to the ground now
the QF victory away at Crumlin Utd was probably one of the most amazing games and victories ive seen , when u compare the set up and size of both clubs

mind u this crowd we’re playing are from the LSL 1A of the third div in leinster, its remarkable that they have got this far also

FYI both teams are priced up 6/4
its amateur football after all now so anything can happen and lads could utterly freeze walking into the Aviva
There is no way in hell tho that Liffey Wanderers have played a team as good as Cobh this season, no way, ive never ever seen a MSL team as good or driven
id say Crumlin were probably better , but Crumlin is lads thinking about going pro, the wanderers lads are fellas who have done it all here in LOI , half the team won the LOI first div with ramblers in 2008, these lads now are just winning this thing for the glory of the town, they have no ambitions about going to LOI, they dont see a euro for this whereas some MSL and most LSL are paying lads 150 euro a game.
Cobh will batter this crowd into submission, i cannot in any way see them loosing the game

Sheriff are a very smart team . Lacking legs but full of experience and know how . They ground out wins away to Peake in Q/f and away to Killarney Celt in semi. Sheriff also have a tough streak . These games are all tight and at most a goal between the team ( from q/fs) . I still think Janesboro could have won it as they really blew it v Killarney Celtic.

Is this like the GAA? Intermediate a step up from junior?
