The Liberty Bar and Grill
The Liberty will be jointed. Perry Street do good food
The Liberty is excellent but usually mobbed. Cork is loaded with aetin houses. Try the pedestrian lane off Patrick street between Paul Street and Patrick Street (just googled it French Church Street). Loads of restraunts down there. The 14A does a nice one.
Thanks, chaps. Any multi stor(e)y or on street parking near these places where we can leave the car for the day? I’m aware it may be a 30-minute walk but I’ve already been for a 5 (five) I’m run this morning and I’m fresh and full of energy.
Park in Cork Con for a fiver. Handy ten minute walk and a fine clubhouse
Handy to get back to Dublin from there and avoiding Wexford, Waterford traffic?
No
There are multiple multi storeys ideal for the ground city centre and the exit route. Elysian car park, city hall car park the handiest but ideal as directly off the south link road
There will be no avoiding this traffic as all exit routes east will go thru dunkettle. City centre out the docks towards glanmire will have less traffic than the tunnel.
If he have a sat nav or Google maps exiting from the city you could try and go to glanmire or watergrashill without going out as far as dunkettle maybe
Paul St. Shopping Centre.
Bear the eateries you are looking for and walking distance to the match.
Elysian has a public car park @gilgamboa ? Never knew that
Out of principal Bandage though please do not fill Michael O’Flynns pockets anymore, the cunt should be in jail for crimes against the country
It’s the aldi car park really but no hassle parking in there. Plenty space on the underground section
Park in Douglas shopping centre multi story for free… Same walk as from town to PUC from there… And you can slip into the motorway up the road in Rochestown.
What was the upshot of the parking situation yesterday, did anybody venture towards Blackrock, wondering if all the work suited a pre match congregation?
City Centre does not equal Douglas
Douglas is a cunt of a place to be sending a lad from town as well, terrible confusing traffic layout, but on the upside @Bandage could get a KCs for the post match supper, something you’d have to do once.
KC’s is an overrated shithole.
This old chestnut. Cork Con more like 30 min walk to ground, especially in crowds, after pints
It wasnt much more than 10 minutes downhill yesterday. Bit longer on the way back up hill alright but a handy stroll
That’s what somebody who has never been there but has a chip on his shoulder about Cork WOULD say.
Overrated alright but no way is it a shithole.
Exactly. Its a very well kept establishment.
Do you rememver the Johovah guy who had it before? May well still have but i have not seen him in years.
