High enough mileage & is the tax not close on ā‚¬800? Plus, why are the rear seats not leather like the front & middle row seats? Looks to me like they were not a factory fit & if so you better make sure they were fitted properly. If you had a collision & rear passengers were hurt you could have problems with insurance.

Do a history check, buddy.

wasn`t there some scam lads were at bringing in jeeps as working vehicles anfd then putting the seats in after to save on VRT. could that be the reason
no interest in cars so this may be entirely a figment of my imagination

Nearly all the new commercial jeeps in Ireland would come in as passenger models & the sears are then taken out.

Harry, what do you make of waxoyl/cavity spray??

First i have heard of it tbh. Canā€™t see it being effective on older models which have been affected by rust already.

Seems to be catching on over here. Dear enough do at about 450 for a car. Business opportunity for someone.

@carryharry has been giving a lot of advice regarding car buying he should declare his credentials etc in this regard? If he is a mechanic, used car salesman etc.

I know stuff.

How much should I be accepting trading in a '08 Skoda Superb, under 100K milesā€¦ @Chocolate Mice cover your ears bud, and say nothing to your girlfriends cousin.

Offer him 2 grand with your Skoda. You have a much more saleable motor than what he is trying to sell you IMO.

cheers bud.

@carryharry Iā€™ve decided to bite the bullet and learn to drive, with that in mind Iā€™ll be buying a car in the next six months.

Can you recommend a car for a learner? Doubt Iā€™ll be doing much city driving if that makes a difference.
Keep it low end budget wise as Iā€™m sure Iā€™ll pick up a few dings along the way.
