From a discussion today on cars as I am getting panels on the house and will think about changing a car next year.
Are the PHEV and other hybrids just a waste of time? All the taxi-drivers cant be wrong on fuel costs.

Bro in law had one. Thirsty

She’s doing very little milage with the new job so not much need for a diesel these days

Big heavy hybrid battery with a 1.8l petrol engine. If she wants it she’ll get it, but you’ll be paying out at the pump. The bro in law had his through work so didn’t care about the cost. He’s gone fully electric since, again through work.

That’s what I’m trying to ascertain.

The Kia dealer told me to spend low until hydrogen comes available.

We could be spending six feet low.

Peugeot 3008 PHEV.

Yea or Nay?

Can anyone/someone explain to me the need for the row of bright lights over the front licence reg that you can see on some cars. My take on it is that when switched on, a speed detection unit cannot see the reg so they won’t get tickets.
And also is my assumption that those with these lights in place are all overweight balding men between the ages of 25-55 accurate?
