What about the Outlander harry

Does anyone else here drive a decent car? Or does everyone have broken down skoda estates similar to Shannonsider?

Fuck the recession

Fine jeep @massey ferguson , can be pricey mainly because they are scarce in 4wd. The Peugot & Citreon SUV’s are the same machine only badged different. Both are better priced & the one to buy if working on a lower budget. The Outlander will hold residual value better though.

Priced an outlander myself last year but if I remember correctly the tax was fairly pricey.

@carryharry what is your view of the Audi Quattro A6?

Inhale petrol.

I certainly did not. She subscribes to the “Swiss cheese” model of unfortunate circumstance so beloved of the aerospace industry and the health and safety Taliban. Whilst we have two children and I have been trying to nudge het towards a phaeton or somesuch, she has decided that she might need to carry our two plus two or three others plus her grandparents and an uncle or two we haven’t seen for three years. She is stubborn as a feckin limousin.

My dream car pal. If i ever go down the route of buying my own wagon, that will be my car.

Fuck sake Harry. I know you’re from tipp and all, but you need to dream bigger.

Nah. Big boot, 4wd, power and style. What more does a Gaa mad country dwelling cluchie need?

You are surely describing an Isuzu trooper.

Your not too far off the mark I reckon.

@carryharry or anyone else.

What do you make of the Peugeot 407? I know French cars don’t have a great rep.

Petrol or Diesel?

Diesel. 1.6 hdi

Peugeut diesels are fairly decent, wouldn’t touch a petrol one

Diesel Engines are decent. Plenty petty issues with Electrics though, bulbs blowing, central locking etc…

Overall, yay or nae?

What colour is it?

What kind of a mug drives a petrol car in this day and age?
