Anyway, I was visiting someone in the North Inner City and I parked the car in Grenville Street, off Gardiner St. I had pulled up behind a Range Rover Sport with a 13 UK reg. It was about 6.55 and I was sitting in the car until 7 until the free parking came in. The fellow with the Range Rover was on the street and on the phone in a fairly agitated state. Anyway it got to 7 and I got out of the car. As I got out a Garda car pulled up. The Garda got out of the squad car and says to your man, this car is the property of the State now, I’m seizing it. There was a bit of a kerfuffle with the car owner going no it’s a very complicated situation and the Garda saying, the car has been seized. I presume the chap had left the State short for the VRT.

Saw a 14 reg Tesla there on the East Link earlier. White, not the greatest colour for a car in Ireland. Saw one in a beautiful shade of red in France a couple of weeks ago.
My neighbour picked one up last month after a six month wait. On the way home, someone drove into the back of him. It has to go back to the states to be fixed.

@carryharry I’ve been having an issue with my Ford Kuga for a few months where the globes on both headlights go on a regular basis. I’ve had three different mechanics replace them for me and every one has said it’s a problem with the wiring on the car, burning out the globe. I had a major service done at Ford last week and told them to have a look at the wiring and fix the problem, but the fuckers are saying that because I have after market globes in there, that’s the problem and want to charge me $120 to fix new ones, which is outrageous if you ask me. I’m fucking seething that after handing over a few hundred for the service (which I think is a joke anyway), they didn’t fix the one fucking problem I wanted fixed. Have you come across this problem and what is my recourse here? Naturally one of the globes on the fucking thing went again this morning, 4th time in three months.
Are globes headlight bulbs in Oz Land?
As regards replacing bulbs/globes, stop that & demand they replace the complete lamps under warranty.
