Cars

It does have the names Vauxhall and Chevette loosely associated with it which should be enough…

+1 on the Skoda

Skoda Octavia - like all cars they may give a bit of trouble. I think they are prone to electrical trouble but mechanically they are sound. I bought one three years ago and will drive it until its only fit to be a henhouse. Apart from some minor electrical trouble that cost €50 to fix, I have had no problems.
Loko - for those sort of notes you could pick up a 20111/2012 Octavia. If you are wary of buying privately, you might be as well buying from a dealer and most (that I have dealt with) will stand over a car for anything from 6-12 months depending on the age.

Who’s the cheapest/not a cunt car rental mob from Dublin Airport?
Alternatively, where is the best location to pick up a hire car to dodge the airport premium?

Bumped for @carryharry.

Shannon Airport?

Hertz. North circular road Phibsboro or Baggot street.

Hertz in Baggot Street are great to deal with.

Would you be a frequent customer of theirs Fagan?

I would imagine the best deals would be usually online.

Fresh wheels. No questions asked.

There was a physics joke embedded in my post but alas…

Anyone drive or ever drive a Chevrolet? Are they any use?

Steer clear.

Why so? Expensive to repair if things go wrong? They give a bit of trouble? They’re a fine stamp of a car though.

Cast off of Opel really. Certain models okay but their rep in the Irish Market is shit. If you can pick one up cheap enough then okay, but it’ll be worth fuck all in a few years.

Ball a shite lad

Match the poster to the car … how apt.

Yeah that’s a Polonez. Also known as a Polski fiat. They don’t make them anymore. Those yokes are solid, if you hit one of them you would know all about it.
