There’s your issue with Fuel Economy. You need more power to shift that Estate about.

Depends on how much fuel the fuel tank holds, weight of car, HP of engine, transmission type etc.

You need a 2.0lt engine which produces torque. Otherwise you’re driving the hole off it to get anywhere quickly thus drinking diesel.

I’m never in much of a rush anywhere.

The car has a display where it shows you fuel consumption and I try drive it as efficiently as possible

I have a 1.6 diesel 6 speed pasaat

I get 1100kms for a fill of about 80 quid. Whatever that equates back to…never drove anything as economical
