Celeb Spotting 🐐

its not often that a spot transcends celebrity into something much more deeper & meaningful but this one certainly has, this man was central to one of the defining moments in Irish history & for that reason & for that reason alone the above spot has officially been declared the

Thank you NCC. I was truely starstuck in his presence.

This Walsh character isn’t a spot.

On a side issue, is the popular Dublin slang word for a woman ‘mot’ or ‘moth’. Always thought it was mot myself, and slagged a mate of mine for spelling it moth in a text before but I may have been mistaken all these years.

It’s actually ‘maith’ as in “Maith an cailin, an cailin maith”.

The expression comes from ‘maith an cailin’ apparently.

Think the correct term is mah but I have heard mot but never moth.

where do the yanks and brits get it from so?

Its frequently used particularly by Italian Americans.

I think some people are just pulling shit out of the sky here. :rolleyes:

Who: Richard Crowley
Famous For: Dashing presenter of Prime Time and host of radio show This Week. Former RTE Middle East correspondent.
Where: Sitting outside Fresh in Grand Canal Dock.
When: 3 pm today.
Wearing: a very modest jeans, jumper, brown shoe rig out.
Other notes: Richard was sipping a coffee and accompanied by a young child in a pram. It wasn’t immediately apparent whether the child is his child or a grandchild. For a man who must be in his fifties Richard is aging quite well and very gracefully. He is receding and greying but making no obvious attempt to cover up either issue.

Richard Crowley is a cyclist and a generally alright sort.

He had all the appearance of a thoroughly alright sort

These two lads are spots.

I kNow my one is a spot that’s why I posted it, you superfluous clown

[quote=“Fagan O, post: 9253”]

Is Chris any relation of yours?

[quote=“Fagan O, post: 9253”]

It only became a spot when it was validated by the Link adjudication team.
You’ll soon get the hang of things around here buddy…now fall in :guns:

It’s you who needs to get the hang of things around here bro.

This Link adjudication thing might have had a certain comedic value once ( I very much doubt it , though the idea of some IFA yokel from south Kilkenny being in a position to recognise celebrity might have been amusing for a second) but it’s very tiresome now

Are you trying to say Brits and Italians use the word mot? never heard them use it in my life.

Very interesting about the maith an cailin, farmer.

Hm.
