Celeb Spotting 🐐

Here gimps, the masses of tfk.com elected that Link Rules should govern this thread for as long as we both shall live, what I say goes now fall in :guns:

Link, Constantin is a spot, and an excellent one at that. I urge you to reconsider and google him at least…

Sad to see you beg like this Dunph. You bought the cow, enjoy the milk.

Begging?

I’m one of Links advisors, it’s up to me to notify him of valid celeb spot submissions when they slip under his radar…

It’ll be a dark day in hell before a man of links standing verifies that nobody as a spot.

Three from today

Celeb 1

Who: Ursula Halligan (on the right below)

Famous For: TV3 political reporter with Leitrim connections
Where: The green of St Stephen’s Green
When: This morning, 20th April 2011 at around 9am
Other Notes: Ursula was decked in a summery dree and wore sunglasses. I stared at her to make sure it was her and she responded with a little smile.

Celeb 2

Who: Tom Dunne

Famous For: Something Happens lead singer, DJ
Where: St Stephen’s Green, on footpath linking top of Dawson Street and top of Grafton Street
When: This afternoon, 20th April 2011 at around 1.30pm
Other Notes: Tom also wore sunglasses and was chatting to an auld bird that you’d shag. He was smiling unsurprisingly.

Celeb 3

Who: Colm McCarthy

Famous For: Funny looking economist resposnible for An Bord Snip
Where: St Stephen’s Green leading on to Merrion Row
When: This afternoon, 20th April 2011 at around 1.35pm
Other Notes: Col was dressed ina suit. He was in the company man of similar age and similar attire and as they approached me, they had an expression of recognition on their faces. It turns out they knew the bloke behind me, who was youngish and removed his earphones, shaking Colm warmly by the hand. I would suggest that he may have been as ex student of McCarthy’s in UCD.

Good spots farmer. Did McCarthy have an air of arrogance about him or from your observations is he a sound chap? He was due to present findings of his report into sale of state assets at a press conference around 1.30 so spot is particularly noteworthy. Ursula and Tom strike me as likeable characters.

No - wouldn’t have said an air of arrogance Larry. This is the second time I have seen him in about a month and he has struck me as down to earth at both times.

Indeed Ursula and Tom both seem like an alright sorts.

I posted a spot of Colm McCarthy acouple of months ago and our adjudicator wouldn’t give it so
Good luck with that one farmer

Sure why would I be listening to him?

Ursula Hannigan is a spot,so is Tom Dunne.

McCarthy the bank economist fella, not a spot.

Two spots from Yeasterday:

  1. Who: Yakubu
    http://www.rankopedia.com/CandidatePix/32854.gif

Famous For: Everton Striker currently on loan at Leicester City
Where: Chesire Oaks, Ellesmere Port
When: Yesterday approx 2.30pm
Other Notes: The Yak has certainly been fed as he is looking very tubby this weather. He was coming out of the Superdry store with a number of bags from other stores at this outlet mall. He was on his own and was obviously getting some retail therapy after Leicesters loss Friday night.

  1. Who: Gareth Thomas
    http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_h1AM0SkOpF4/TSefMFQuqKI/AAAAAAAADZI/1q3KH27LXgM/s1600/Gareth%2BThomas%2BNick%2BYoungquest%2Bnaked.jpg

Famous for: Former Wales Rugby Union Captain, currently playing league with the Crusaders who are based in Wrexham. Also a steamer
Where: Chester City centre
When: Yesterday at approx 5pm
Other Notes: Alfie as he is known was strolling down one of the side streets with a male companion who I say is his gay lover. He is also the person in the picture with Thomas. He was in a jovial mood as he strolled past us.

Hi Link, I have one for consideration when you get the time please.

Who: Conor Counihan, Cork manager
Where: Strand Road Pormarnock, Fingal
When: Today, 11:40am approx
Wearing: Cork tracksuit bottoms and Cork t-shirt
With: 2 other lads of the same agegroup
What: Conor seemed to be making his way back to the Portmarnock Hotel after Mass at St Anne’s Church. I wonder did Conor consider getting Mass at the less spectacular, but more homely, Holy Family Church instead?

Link, where do you stand on candidates from the Irish version of The Apprentice?

Fire away and Link will decide when he’s online. Nice to see ye lads asking for Links permission and seeking approval for celeb spots. Order has been restored around here…

Bandage - what’s the rule on GAA players who’ve also become famous through other routes? e.g. TV Analyst or Porn Star?

I wouldn’t dare second guess what rules THE LINK WALSHe and his adjudication team may apply, Mac. It’s a question for LINK.

Yakubu is a spot.

Thomas isnt, his crowd dont qualify under the Link rules that govern this thread.

Great spot
