Not a spot.
Who: James Reilly
http://s2.jrnl.ie/media/2011/04/James-Reilly-Photocall-230x150.jpg
Famous for: Negotiating a lucurative medical card deal for GPs a couple of years back
When: Today, 16 May 2011, 12.45pm
Where: Outside the main gates to Trinity College, walking towards Grafton Street
Wearing: A suit
Company: 3 other gentlemen
Demeanour: Focused and busy
Other notes: Reilly is a very big man and carries a large Ned Kelly. He strikes me as quite unhealthy and is quite pale faced. He walked alongside one gentleman with whom he was in conversation, while two other hurried behind attempting to get in on the conversation. All 3 other gentlemen were wearing suits.
Thatās a spot.
Who: Rob Kearney
Famous for: Going out with Chardonnay from Footballersā Wives
Where: Fresh Supermarket, Grand Canal Dock
When: 5.15pm
Wearing: navy flannel tracksuit bottoms and blue
Demeanour: Friendly (some chap was talking rugby to him)
Other notes: having caught the end of the rugby talk I suspected the fella was Kearns. I doubled back to confirm and to make it look natural picked up a Yop that I did not actually want. I was slightly disappointed that he didnāt recognize me as I took a snap of him with a friend of mine last time I met him in Bucks.
Other other notes: I subsequently shifted the friend but believe to this day that she was pretending I was Rob.
There is no mention of Kearney wearing a scarf, but itās quite possible he was as heād be the type. In the absence of proof itās a spot.
Who: Mick Wallace
Famous For: Manager & Owner of Wexford Youths F.C., Brains behind the Italian Quarter in Dublin, Vineyard Owner, Business Tycoon, Political Activist, Owner of Multiple Italian Restaurants, Current TD, Lover of all things Italian,
Where: In his Black Mercedes Jeep, stuck in traffic beside the Esso Station on the Clonskeagh side of Ranelagh
Wearing: A pink shirt
When: Circa 6.50pm this evening
Notes: Not much. I was cycling in the opposite direction and noticed the black jeep with āWallaceā written on the side. Mick was in the drivers seat and appeared to be in conversation with someone via a handsfree kit of some sort, or else he was talking to himself. Iāve been told previously that Mick has a house or some family living in the Goatstown / Mount Merrion area so I can only guess he was heading in that direction.
Spots of Mick Wallace are very much welcomed and are to be encouraged. Super spotting.
dunph/LINKe whats your position on irish political figures?
Who: Martin ferris
Famous for: āpoliticianā
Where: eamonns bar in ardfert
When: 10pm last night
Wearing: grey suit white shirt
Demeanour: questionable really busy chatting to a few locals
Other notes: the barman on hearing an english accent in our presence notified quiet soon after our arrival that this was a provo pub. he asked us if we were scoping for the queens visit and mentioned the last black and tan around here, they dug him up and sent him home.
Thatās a spot and a nice anecdote to boot.

Can someone tell MBB it wasnāt funny the first time?
Say it yourself you spineless fucko.
There are likely to be quesitons regarding me validating spots here tonight. Until Link returns from his sabbatical (whenever that is) i will be running the rule on all spots. I did the same the other day and there were no objections from any quarters. When he comes back he will be taking over. Consider me the āActing Celeb Spot Adjudicatorā.

An early tester for you Dunph
Would Shark Hanlon and Charlie Swan drinking in a pub in Naas on the Friday night of Punchestown count as spots?
Yes. If it was at the racecourse no, but you couldnāt reasonably expect them to be at that particular pub, or indeed at any pub in Naas that night.
Link, to the best of my knowledge has recently started in his new job and so has been unable to come on and validate spots as he would like.
I think he would regard you, Dunph, as a very able stand-in until he returns.
Validate away.
another thinly veiled āim part of the horsey setā post from Mac.
I think TLW needs to add no forelock tugging spots count from now on either.

Ah now thats disappointing, I thought you were going to post a spot in Aus, Tagdh Kenneally or Adam Goodes or Cate Blanchett or some such.
Great to see the Dunph in charge now, will surely do his reputation good.
Dunph has no mandate. Control should revert to the thread starter.
The Dunph appears to be doing a fine job so far.
Who: John āSharkā Hanlon
Where: Langtons, John St, Kilkenny
When: last tuesday night, 8.30 to ā¦
Wearing: suited and booted, and a big red head.
Mood: Jovial, still smiling after the massive touch that was Truckers Delight.
Occasion: A celebratory dinner to congratulate the new chairman of the IGB, Phil Meaney
Other celebs present: (but not considered spots due to the nature of the event) Matt Bruton, Paul Hennessy, Tony McNamee, Bernard Barry.
There was a subsequent spot on Friday night of the Shark at the same venue having a pint with myself and the company I fell into, but two in a week would have him up there with the voice, and that aint happening!
I saw Mairead Fleming of Brightwater Recruitment on my way into work. She appears on the Irish Apprentice Youāre Fired show. The Dunph, Iām seeking some guidance as to whether this would be a spot if presented correctly.

Donāt waste your breadth, it wonāt be let throughā¦
Doggy fiddlers are spots now, ah hereā¦

What a cracking dig at Bandage, masked as a spelling error.
Delivered width some aplomb. :guns: The Dunph
Dunph operates on a different level
Iāve noticed Dunph having some digs at me lately, no more so than in the TFK Staff forum in the Group section.
