Where: Mulligans, Poolbeg St
Wearing: Clothes
Demeanour: Kevin Moran was naturally on a high and joined in a rendition of Dublin in the rare oul times. Ray Cosgrave was happy but you could tell by him there was a tinge of regret there. Grainne was happy to pose for photos and engage in general banter. Jim was pished and giving the Mickey eye to every and any poor wan that entered his eyeline
Other Notes: Jim released the most wocious Guinness fart I’ve ever come across when I had the misfortune of being sqwez up again him at the bar. The cunt had something dead inside him

Other spots that I was too pissed to actually confirm/care about were Colm Keyes, Darren Frehill & some other journo

Vice-COTY 2009 Michael Galwey was apparently leading the Dublin team in a sing song circa 4:45 am on Monday morning, according to somebody who suddenly emerged from the side door of Copper’s. I’m obviously not claiming this as a spot.

St. Patrick’s and Dubin hurling superstar Liam Rushe was standing at the top of the stairway under Hill 16 section B (the crap bit) for about 20 minutes between the minor and senior matches surveying the carnage going on beside the bar down below in Section A. Cue some “Rushie” chants from below. Eoghan O’Gara, Michael Fitzsimons and Bernard Brogan Senior were in Copper’s this a.m. O’Gara was pissed and smoking ccigarettes and was shouting “you can shove the fucking Kingdom up yer arse”. Michael is a very sober, well spoken chap and could be fairly described as making up a large part of the poshness of Ireland’s poshest full-back line. Bernard Senior was on the verge of tears. Finbar Furey was on the steps outside crying at the end, drunk as a skunk… Eamonn Fennell was in the chipper beside the Palace on Camden Street at about 5am last night. There were people dancing up on the counter of the chipper. In fairness to Eamonn and to me, neither of us did so.

I was walking in the crowded front door and a very steamed Paudie O Se was coming out. A dub behind me said to him “fair play to ya Paudie you called it right in the paper” everyone else enjoyed it except for Paudie: I dont know if he was too steamed of pissed off to react!

MBB: The guy who made the comment (unless you were him) had a Dublin Jersey on but it was pretty busy around there.

I was in Mulligans ouside of the Palace. It was mobbed also with many pissed/happy Dubs. Relaxed enough atmosphere in both places
