The first ever record I owned was a copy of Football Crazy by Rolf Harris. My Auntie Tess bought it for me on the occasion of my ninth birthday.

I was only reading the history of Football Crazy during the week (for some reason, I was singing it to myself, remembering the school performance in the parish concert from 1990 in the community centre). I didnât realise it dated back to the 19th century as a folk song before a few Scottish folks singers adapted it in 1950s
