Celebrity Deaths 2025 - Under 90s only

Magnificent :clap::clap:

One of my all time favourites. Poor coach

He surely didn’t watch the Frasier show if he thought the title character was a pain in the hole :joy:

Coach was a loss when he passed. A delightful little character. ā€˜Coach’s daughter’ episode is off the charts in terms of quality - away from comedy.

Frasier didn’t suit Cheers I thought.

But his own show was arguably better than Cheers.

Both. I know Frasier was critically acclaimed but bar the aul lad i didn’t enjoy the other characters.

I love the Fraiser show. Too young to remember Cheers but I do enjoy the snippets I see on social media

I’ve never seen a minute of Frasier but loved Cheers back in the day. Norm and Cliff were the standouts

Your inverse snobbery applied to Tv characters too?

You won’t go wrong going on a binge. It rarely dips

I think that the boss man Sam was a terrific character and Danson held it together perfectly.

That’ll do

He looked very unhealthy when he appeared jn Frasier. He was only in his 50’s then I’d say,

I’d say a lot of the stuff probably went over your head

There’s a scene where Norm gets stuck in the pool room after trying to make a gap for access. Rebecca came out to him to see how he was and he handed her back two empty glasses of beer which he had obviously been consuming while being stuck.

Anyone else been to the pub in Boston? I was probably too young to enjoy it and not a big enough watcher of the show to appreciate it but I remember being a bit underwhelmed. It was as much a museum as it was a pub.

I was there.

I think that it is really just the outside of the building, in terms of the footpath, that is ā€˜real’.

The pub itself was a studio. The pub in the ā€˜real’ building looks nothing like Cheers.
