It looks like a similar shape to the Benfica game and probably testing it out ahead of the Moscow midweek trip.
Superb first touch and finish by Hooper after a great ball over the top from deep by Commons.
+1. This is a very good game. Celtic very fluid with a 4-3-3.
2-0.
Own goal from a Brown cross after a link up involving Commons and Izaguirre.
Commons fouled.
Brownâs penalty saved.
Wanyama blazes the rebound over.
Looks like Brownâs tenure over penalties will now be over.
That was a smashing Celtic display to reclaim the top spot. There was no under par performer and we were able to introduce Samaras, Miku and Ledley after injuries too. The only negative was the sheer volume of chances that were passed up in the second half. It was a completely dominant performance after an early Motherwell surge in the first ten minutes. Ambrose looked very comfortable at centre back today. Lustig was very impressive and it was Izzyâs best game of the season. Wanyama bossed midfield with Brown and Commons was very good indeed - some great passes, especially the one for Hooperâs goal. Hooper was sharp again and Forrest was improved too. It will be interesting to see how we line up on Tuesday now with the returning players pushing for starting places.
Mulgrew played left side of midfield again did he? Good to see Ambrose settling in well.
Iâd go with:

He played in a midfield three with Brown and Wanyama. It wasnât a 4-3-3 with Commons and Forrest on either flank - they both moved infield and even across to the other flank at times and were picking the ball up in pockets of space. The first goal was an example of this with Commons getting on the ball in a central area and floating a lovely ball over the top for Hooper to take in his stride and finish. It was very fluid and they couldnât cope with it at all. We really gave them a good going over. 5-0+ would have been a fairer reflection of the play.
Fraser Forster has received a call up to the England side
well deserved
Home to St Johnstone in quarter finals of league cup
Matthews, Forrest and Mulgrew all signed new contracts today. Both defenders are contracted until summer 2016 while Forrest extended until December 2016. Great news, particularly around the younger two lads both of whom are excellent prospects.
A really excellent week for Celtic with the win in Moscow, contract extensions for some of our best players and the individual recognition for Forster.
But allow me to introduce Celticâs latest celebrity supporter:
Lana Del Rey

Iâd tap that.
Weâll be debuting the new 125th anniversary kit tomorrow.
