Hard to know whatās the worst area of this performance. Defence are all over the place with Ambrose and Izzy continuing their personal duel to sell as many goals as they can this season. The midfield are absolving themselves of all responsibility for anything. They refuse to track runners. And Stokes and Commons have been pathetic.

Well that was really poor. Fortunate to get a point in the end. They had much better chances. This idea of letting our full backs roam free is patently not working. Weāre constantly getting overrun on the break. We donāt have midfielders capable enough of sitting in to make a man defence. We donāt have central defenders who are clever enough to shift between 4 at the back and 3 at the back. And we donāt have full backs who are effective enough going forward or willing enough to track back diligently.
Hard to pick many positives from that today. Gordon was good again. OāConnell looked no worse than some of our more experienced options when he came on. Griffiths had some urgency about his play and at least he takes on shots and works the keeper.
Berget, Ambrose and Izzy were diabolical. Stokes, Commons, Johansen, Kayal were really poor. Denayer has lots to learn.
Denayer is too small to be a centre back, he must only be about 5 ft 10 and he doesnāt compensate for it with a big leap or supreme physicality either.
Agreed. Heās not a bad player but heās very young and makes mistakes and needs to find some way of coping with his size because they played a lot of high balls over him and Izzy and we looked in trouble on plenty of them.
