Missed the first 20 minutes or so of that where I understand we were poor but we played well for the next 24 minutes or so before nearly self-imploding at the end of the half.
Johansen and Brown doing well in midfield. Johansen dictating the play a bit and picking it up off the centre backs. Brown has shown great energy to get back a few times and has gone close at the other end. The only midfielder we have in the squad who actually sprints when running towards our own goal it seems.
Izaguirre has the beating of their full back all day, he’s brutal, but then spoiled his half with an abysmal pass back near the end that was intercepted but the bar came to our rescue.
Oh and Stokes looks uncomfortable out left (apart from the fact he’s up against a completely inept defender) but was very slack in front of our goal in that 2 minute spell before half time, gifting them a half chance in the process.

There have been two types of performance under Deila so far: matches where we’ve been fairly slick going forward and disastrous at the back, and then other matches when we’ve been blunt attacking and even more disastrous at the back. This was one of the former.
Nobody particularly stood out. Izaguirre had a super game for a while but gifted them a great chance. Brown showed good energy, as did Guidetti who put in an encouraging performance. Stokes linked well with Izzy going forward. Commons was quiet. McGregor needs to add something other than shooting to his game.
