They are completely broke. Big row over last years tv deal because the season wasn’t finished out and the crowd withheld the payments. Lille have a young centre half man united and Liverpool are after going cheap and I think he only signed last summer.

Hendry to join the Belgian club on a permanent deal apparently. He’s been excellent over there by all accounts.
Did he ever play under Lennon? I know Rodgers gave him plenty of chances and he didn’t look up to it but Lennon just seemed to completely freeze him out without any chance.

Lennon is a self serving cunt.
I’d also appreciate some contrition from @Rocko who snugly told us everything was fine 12 months ago and Lennon was doing a good job when all the signs were on the wall. Players had regressed badly and certain players were immune from being dropped regardless of form or fitness.
What will happen now is that the players will continue to regress from now until the end of the season, become more and more disillusioned with the shambolic management by the club, want out and vastly reduced fees than they would have commanded two years ago.
Edouard and Ajer are unquestionably off next season for snip fees.

There was some hype around him when he was 17. Rafa Benitez had him on trial at Liverpool. Even around 2014 it seemed like he going to get a big move from Everton to a Champions League club. Never kicked on.

Celtic supporters are to oirish players what the ingerlish red tops are to any English journeyman who winds up in the EPL. They talk them up as the second coming.
Duffy being a classic example.

McCarthy is a really good player. Injuries are the big question mark.
If he’s available on a free then Celtic should definitely look to get him in and move on the likes of Brown and Ntcham.
Duffy has been a disaster and doesn’t seem like a player who can play in a side who dominate other teams.
In saying that I reserve judgement of any player when the current management team are in place. Brown is finished so I’d give the others a clean slate under new management.
