Close to signing Ahmad Benail who was heavily linked with us in January according to reports. He’s a defensive midfielder so would be a welcome addition as we are quite light in suitable cover here.

Bitton picked up an injury after coming on for Israel yesterday. Going for x-ray today. He’s close to irreplaceable in the current Celtic setup.

Bit of a strange one, imagine he would have got opportunities at Celtic between now and the season end and there’s no guarantee he is more likely to get game time with Rosenborg.

Hmmm. I’d have liked him to stay around the Celtic first team squad but it should prove beneficial to his development if he gets a run of first team games with them.

I didn’t notice him doing anything of note the other night but he’s looked like a good prospect in other games against us.

Glasgow derby tomorrow night. Brown suspended and Lustig and Mulgrew still unavailable.

Ross County and Motherwell both won tonight. A good battle developing for that relegation play-off spot.

His combative, battling qualities remind me a lot of Broony but I think he’s technically better. Would be a very good player to add into the midfield mix.
