Tierney was an absolute bargain at ÂŁ25m. Theyâd love to get that value for all their signings.

Iâd say the jury is still out on that, there were serious suggestions last season they were going to give up on him and let him move again. When fit he has been very good, but a key defender missing for 50% of games is no good for trying to build a competitive team.
They gave him a contract extension with improved terms a week or two ago.
