They would have to buy Oostendeās option off them first is my understanding. Iām in no great rush to see Hendry back regardless of his form last season, still a bit scarred
Iād imagine as itās an option it would only allow Hendry to discuss a permanent contract with Oostende.
If he signed a new deal with Celtic then it effectively makes that option null and void.
I think this came up before a few years back when Celtic were chasing Nguemo at the time, apparently it can vary on contracts but some agreements will have pre-agreed wages also agreed with the player in the event they choose to take the option. Otherwise as you say, youād think Celtic could use their clout in this case

Ā£15m for Edouard is a very poor fee, last 12 months if his contract or not.
If we are including Klimala we should have got in or will get in.

Thatās close to Ā£30m in and Brown, Duffy, Laxalt, Moi and Kenny off the wage bill along with those should be about 150k a week off the wage bill.
