I’m expecting 2-3 relatively big name signings before the transfer window slams shut.
We haven’t actually spent too much so far, five players in with Sinclair the only one who we paid a bit of money for. I’d estimate we have spent £5m so far.
On the other hand we have taken in about £4m between Johansen, Scepovic and the sell on clause with Wanyama. The wage bill should remain more or less the same as we have lost Scepovic, Cole, Kazim Richards, Stokes, Mulgrew and Johansen.
Therefore I would expect we can afford a spend of £10m in the next few days and hopefully ship the likes of Ambrose on.
I was thinking Jon Flanagan at right back on loan from Liverpool. He was linked a couple of months ago. Badly need someone there. Janko simply not good enough and Lustig not getting any younger

I don’t think so. He’d been training with Celtic during pre-season but it seemed to be a courtesy thing to allow him keep fit. No sign of a deal being agreed for him to stay.
I’m fairly sure we haven’t sold Scepovic yet despite what was reported in the papers a couple of months ago. He was still a Celtic player last week, according to Celtic.
