Yeah a Green Brigade protest march and the cops have used “kettling” as a response. The same police force are happily allowing a Scottish Defence League march to take place uninterrupted in the city centre but won’t allow football fans protest against criminalisation.
Tip off - rolled back to Lustig who launched if forward and Hooper flicked it sideways to Stokes who took a touch and then played Commons in around the corner. Commons took one more touch and fired in with his left. Cracking start.
Why do any of us care about oppression Michael? In this new post-Chavez world I think it’s important we’re all vigilant against authoritarian fascism.
i agree 100% with all that.
yes but no one is been oppressed in this situation, if the police are trying to stamp out sectarianism and crime it should be applauded, it must be a very slow day if the mundane actions of a police force in an impoverished British town are worthy of comment here
what’s the story with Rami Gershon?
there is something very wrong if ambrose is preferred to him at center half.
Talk of Kayal to Maccabi Tel Aviv is getting louder here.
Oscar Garcia and Jordi Cruyff have them cruising to the league here and they are talking about strengthning the squad for an assault on next season’s CL. Garcia, the former Barcelona youth team manager says that Maccabi are lacking a Mascherano type character and they seem to be lining kayal up as that
Game a bit more even now. Mulgrew has gone close a couple of times. Stokes doing well in general play but has messed up a couple of times when seemingly in on goal (albeit from an angle) when he’s miscontrolled.

Not sure. He’d been injured but was back last week and was in the papers during the week speaking about wanting to play enough to win a medal and to get a permanent deal. This would have been his home debut. Bit surprised he isn’t even on the bench so he may have picked up a knock.
Great ball from Commons set Stokes through and he tried to flick it past Langfield first time with the outside of his right boot but keeper saved with his foot.
Josh Magennis gives Aberdeen the lead. Came after a promising Celtic break ended when Kayal miscontrolled, Aberdeen broke quickly - not sure where Ambrose was but Magennis drifted across from the right into the space and Wilson who tracked the run could only deflect the shot and it squeezed past Forster. Kayal should have controlled the ball and it was understandable that we were over-committed forward (Lustig in particular had every right to be steaming forward on the overlap) but not really sure where Ambrose was in all of that and whether we allowed all 3 central players to get forward at the same time.
