4 minutes in and 4 fouls from Aberdeen already. They’re going for the rough approach after seeing hearts bully us.

Sinclair clean through for a 1 v 1. Decent save but should have scored with all that time.
That’s an excellent intervention from Ajer. Lustig was poor there. Celtic slacking a little after the bright start.

This keeps happening when you have a pop at Lustig.
So it seems but it doesn’t change the fact that Lustig is a liability defensively these days and needs to replaced as a matter of urgency.
Huge deflection but played some some lovely probing football in the build up.
Sinclair with another big chance but delayed too much.

He has him limitations but I’m not sure he’s any better or worse this season than others. He’s a bit of a confidence player. He’s an ok defender but always finds it tricky against pace and he’s liable to be bullied. Not sure we can afford any sort of reasonable upgrade on him though.

I’m pretty sure we can, whether we want to or not.
I think you hold too much loyalty to Lustig, his performance levels have dropped significantly over the last year and a bit and it should be a priority to bring in a new right back. Ralston looks to have a bit of talent but he’s not ready yet.
It’s not a priority like a centre back is or a #10 or a winger to replace Hayes/Roberts for next season or a striker possibly to replace Dembélé or a goalkeeper.
We have other areas to address.
You should watch more of the games.
