Absolutely camped out in their half until about 75 minutes & actually passed & probed well, missed a plethora of chances to finish it & then lost composure in the last part of the game. Not dissimilar to the Christmas derby when Celtic struggled to see out a 2-1 lead with a man advantage. It’s more relief than celebration, even though the huns didn’t really have a chance in the second half. That’s essentially the league now & the game kinda summed up the season as whole - some good, average & bad. We really need to upgrade the squad & some positions require urgent attention, & have done for ages.

Wouldn’t agree with that. The huns are fairly crude but they can be effective getting it forward early & with Tavernier bombing on & joining in on the second phase, & scoring hundreds of penalties. But they don’t play any football through midfield & didn’t create anything. Celtic have much more quality in O’Riley & Hatate. As I said, they can be effective & could have their day in the cup final yet but Celtic have taken 10 points from them in the league & there’s a definite gap in quality.

Watching Celtic this season has aged me considerably. There is a huge rebuilding job there during the summer. MOR is definitely off, maybe Hatate? New goalies, centre half, left back, centre midfield and striker needed. And they have to be quality unless it’s going to be another season of big defeats in the Champions League.
