We’ve been poor in extra time. They’ve been much fresher having emptied their bench. We’ve looked tired and there have been concentration lapses as a result.

The lack of fitness, which Ange complained about, on show here. As much as we deserved to progress over both 90 minutes, we’ve got steamrolled in extra time. Haven’t created a chance since going behind early in extra time.

There are few things more annoying in sport than self-inflicted defeats and then having to watch a crowd of hopeless fuckers rubbing your noses in it.

I’m off to check my training plan for tomorrow now actually. I’ll put out the green bin too. Maybe have a cup of tea and a bit of fruit cake after pacing around the back yard for a while. I’m fucking raging though. PSV would have beaten us 6-1 on aggregate, but losing to those gimps in that manner was sickening.
