Think that was the year before. They were in CL group stages last season having beaten Slavia Praha comfortably in the qualifiers. As we know that was a very decent Slavia team.

I like how Ange has a low tolerance for bullshit and says what’s on his mind. He had a cut at the board for hesitating and not getting deals over the line at the pre-match press conference earlier.
I think it’s just refreshing to have a single minded manager who has very clear ideas on what he wants from his team.
It could be a disaster but it’s far better than having an arrogant, inept company man who can’t take the mildest form of criticism or accountability.
He also expressed disappointment at the general fitness levels of the squad. Deila had similar sentiments when he took over from Lennon.
