Dundee police have sent a formal letter to the SFA complaining about Neil Lennonās goal celebrations last weekend.
In other news, the hun linesman last weekend has resigned and said there was a ācover upā by Head of Referee Development, Hugh Dallas, and referee Dougie McDonald after the game. Neil Lennon has already contradicted Dallasā public assertion that he accepted the referee was correct. Lennon said he spoke to the referee and accepted his explanation but did not agree with the decision.
Celtic should pursue this to the maximum now. I want Hugh Dallasā head on a plate - the cunt.
Anyway, bring on tomorrow.
BBC Radio Scotland are reporting that Celtic will be unchanged tomorrow. Ballsy enough call to play Maloney, Samaras, Stokes and Hooper again, as itās not as if Ki and Ledley are the traditionally disciplined holding midfield style stoppers. Looks like Lenny is going all out to attack them rather than matching up with their expected 3 in midfield.
We can be fairly flexible in that the four forward players can play straight through the middle or from wider or deeper starting positions. It could be a 4-2-3-1 like this to start:
Forster,
Wilson, Loovens, Majstorovic, Izaguirre,
Ki, Ledley,
Stokes, Samaras, Maloney,
Hooper.
But they can adapt to 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 if required.
Disappointing that the great Paddy McCourt is unlikely now to get the start but we have the option of spring the McCourt/McGinn Flying Column from the bench at some stage.
The huns have Broadfoot, Lafferty and McCulloch back so I reckon theyāll revert from their European 5-4-1 to the 4-5-1 that they usually play at Celtic Park:
McGregor,
Broadfoot/Whittaker, Bougherra, Weir, Papac,
Naismith, Edu, McCulloch, Davis, Lafferty,
Miller.
I think theyāll leave Weiss on the bench but weāll see. They could also play Whittaker in one of the wide midfield positions and leave out Lafferty.
Read quotes from Lennon today where he was talking about playing the same way and attacking so not surprised he will go with the same team. I predict a couple of goals from Hooper tomorrow and a Celtic victory with Stokes playing a stormer and grabbing a goal also.
Bar Davis there isnt a footballer worthy of the name going to be playing in this game tomorrow. Stokes, Miller, McCulloch, Weir, Samaras, Maloney, Wilson - awful awful players - long way from the Laudrupās and Larrssonās some time back
Just hope the sectarianism in this horrible British city is properly exposed tomorrow. Hopefully some riots break out
KIB Man keeps telling us how insignificant the game is but canāt fucking help himself the eejit.
Cannot fucking wait for this match.
For those who are in love
Thereās a song thatās warm and tender
For those who are oppressed
In song you can protest
So liberate your minds
And give your soul expression
Open up your hearts
Iāll sing for you this song
Let the people sing their stories and their songs
And the music of their native land
Their lullabies and battlecries and songs of hope and joy
So join us hand in hand
All across this ancient land
Throughout the test of time
It was music that kept their spirits free
Those songs of yours and of mine
It was back in ancient times
The bard would tell his stories
Of the heroes, of the villain
Of the chieftains in the glen
Through Elizabethian time
And Cromwellian war and fury
Put our pipers to the sword
Killed our harpers and our bards
Let the people sing their stories and their songs
And the music of their native land
Their lullabies and battlecries and songs of hope and joy
So join us hand in hand
All across this ancient land
Throughout the test of time
It was music that kept their spirits free
Those songs of yours and of mine
Ireland, land of song
Your music lives forever
In its valleys, in its mountains
In its hills and in its glens
Our music did survive
Through famine and oppression
To the generations gone
Iāll sing for you this song
Let the people sing their stories and their songs
And the music of their native land
Their lullabies and battlecries and songs of hope and joy
So join us hand in hand
All across this ancient land
Throughout the test of time
It was music that kept their spirits free
Those songs of yours and of mine
Itās the night before the derby - letās get the Celtic songs and rebel songs and Irish songs up here now. Iāll get us started.

my favourite would be Joe Millerās 1989 ET winner in the SFA cup final
i remember that day very well, i had u-10 GGA training at 3pm that day , i remember it been a searing hot May saturday ,everton were playing liverpool 4 weeks post hillsboro at wembley and Ferry accross the Mersey was the song at the time, both games went to ET, RTE2 were showing liverpool / everton and lāpool won 3-2.
i remember my dad calling me to watch the cup final highlights that night as they would show the goal from the SFA cup final on MOTD before we lost power due to a thunderstorm over cork harborā¦
this was the pre dziekanowski era, if i am correct in september 1989 celtic played partizan in the ECWC loosing 5-4 on agg⦠great days//
Neil Lennon: āI want to bring the thunder back and I want my players to go to war every time they go out on the pitch.ā
Itās time to go to war against these bastards. Need to set about them from the kick-off like this:
I thought (but memory may be clouded) that RTĆ actually showed the Celtic game after the Liverpool/Everton game. Think that was that the same game where Celtic won a free kick near the end and someone just booted it into the crowd.
Rocko, meet me at 7.30am tomorrow at the departures entrance up by the Aer Lingus check-in machines. We will proceed cautiously from there to link up with the charter party.
Indeed. Confirmed.
