Like Real Madrid and Man City tonight, Tottenham really shouldn’t be competing in the European Cup next season. This once great tournament is dying a slow death since it admitted 2nd, 3rd & 4th placed sides.
I’m having serious trouble thinking of successful intra-Premier League transfers in recent years.
Sturridge perhaps, Clyne, Lukaku are a few I can think of but the list of badly judged ones is extremely long.
Liverpool and Manchester United have focussed on signing players from other Premier League teams more than most over the last few years and have both blown vast amounts on middling to poor players at this level.
Manchester City’s intra-Premier League signings over the last few years have been really awful. Rodwell, Sinclair, Nasri, Delph, Bony, Clichy. Sterling hasn’t had a good season. Milner was reasonably successful and might prove to be again at Liverpool. Mind you most of their signings from abroad have hardly set the world on fire either.
Mentioned Aguero being afraid of his life in the first half. The gutless little shit spent most of the second half around 40 yards from goal playing wall passes with his holding midfielders. Scared shitless to remain upfront near Ramos and Pepe after they both got tight to him and gave him a few dunts early on.
he was found out at the highest level
The scale of the money thrown about by the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona is gas when Spain is an economic basket case with 21% unemployment (45% youth unemployment) and no government for 136 days. It’ll be a big ask on all those football mad, denizens of Madrid to make it to the final in Milan on their social welfare payments.
He’s scored 4 in 14 games against Pepe and Ramos. Hasn’t a shot on target in the cl since February.
De bruyne is a shit player
Clyne
They will finish third.
Good point. Wes Morgan was an intra-Championship transfer
You say some silly things
You don’t think they would?
You thought Shane O’Neill was a good full back for about two years kev
Yaya Toure really is an utter cunt and charlatan of a footballer.
Unbelievable, at 17 seconds he would be fucked out of it at a five a side among mates.
He’ll always nick a goal in a 4-1 win or stand out against the lower teams. He’ll be gone in the summer.
In truth he left last summer. He’s been punching the clock all season long. Did you see the photo after the League Cup win?
The Birthday Cake incident seems to have really affected him. Let’s hope Pep remembers De Bruynes and Harts when he arrives.
He’s as fat as the Michelin man
Looks like City signed James Toney.
