Some goal. Villa are a very good team. Between themselves and Chelsea for 4th this year I’d say.

Emery has done a fine job with Villa. Bayern have fairly dominated possession since I started watching around half an hour in. But Villa are very well drilled & have restricted the amount of clear cut chances conceded, & kept themselves in the game.

Liverpool and Villa are a serious upgrade on the two diddy English teams who got knocked out in the group stages last season. Great to see someone different like Villa dining at the top table.
